Shots fired at apartment complex, police on the hunt for suspect

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department responded to shots fired at an apartment complex Sunday.

When officers arrived to 4100 Breezewood Dr., several shell casings were located around the complex, outside the building. No damage was detected nor was anyone injured. Police said projectiles didn’t seem to pierce the apartments.

They were unable to gather suspect or vehicular descriptions. The WPD is asking anyone with more information to contact (910) 343-3609.
