Driver crashes into Safe Way grocery store in Wilmington, arrested for DWI

Just after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, a driver ran into the Safe Way, a grocer on Wilshire Boulevard.

WILMINGTON –– A driver crashed into a food market on Wilshire Boulevard Wednesday afternoon, police reported.

According to a release from the Wilmington Police Department, Elvin Romero-Bueso drove into Safe Way around 3:48 p.m.

Romero-Bueso was arrested for driving while intoxicated, “C&R and Federal Immigration Detainer,” the release stated.

No one was injured.
