CFPUA lifts boil water advisory, water main break fixed on Carolina Beach Road

WILMINGTON — After a water main break on Saturday flooded parts of Carolina Beach Road, crews for CFPUA have completed repairs. As well, all customers affected by the boil water advisory can resume regular usage. The advisory has been lifted; CFPUA lab staff tested the water to ensure its safety.

In the 2000 block of Carolina Beach Road, a lane will remain closed to traffic through Monday, resulting in the southbound lanes between Northern and Central boulevards to shift to the center lane. Central Boulevard is also closed. Once the road is resurfaced, all lanes will open again.
