Man arrested for last Thursday’s shooting of 23-year-old male

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department announced today that 29-year-old Adrian Point was arrested Mar. 16, 10:30 a.m., for last Thursday’s shooting that occurred at Nixon and 6th streets.

U.S. Marshals Task Force took Point into custody and charged him with first-degree murder and possession of firearm by a felon. He is being held without bond, and the investigation is ongoing.

Last Thursday, police officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert at 2:50 p.m. They found Oarmonz Dikal Days in critical condition, and transported him to NHRMC where he was pronounced deceased upon arrival.
