Missing Person: William “Billy” Joseph Lare

NEW HANOVER COUNTY—The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Department has issued a missing report for 55-year-old white caucasian male, William “Billy” Joseph Lare.

Lare has a medium build, stands 5’6″ and weighs approximately 160 pounds. He has blue​ eyes, blonde hair and three tattoos: a heart with Lane Rose on his upper left arm, RIP Roe on the upper right arm, along with a tribal tattoo on the upper right arm.

Lare has been missing since May 8, 2020, but was reported on Dec. 22, 2020. He was last seen at 1545 Sandlapper Way.
