Monday, Dec. 19
The Town of Kure Beach will meet at 6 p.m. in council chambers, 117 Settlers Ln. Items on the agenda include:
- Approve the FY 22-23 Revised Fee Schedule to include a $150 fee for meter box replacement
- Proposed Text Amendments to Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 of the building code
- Discussion of Civil Solutions Proposal for Rehabilitate located at S. 4th Avenue
- Proposal of the Clark Group Environmental Baseline Survey for the MOTSU Lease Requirements
- Continued Discussion of the Emergency Operations Plan
Leland Town Council will hold a special meeting at 4:30 p.m. to discuss economic incentives in closed session, followed by a regular meeting at 6 p.m. at 102 Town Hall Drive. The town will hold a public hearing on the annexation of 2,100 acres of land off Malmo Loop Road at the request of a developer. The meeting may be livestreamed via YouTube.
The Belville Board of Commissioners will meet at 6:30 p.m. at 63 River Road. The board will discuss construction at the town’s Riverwalk park and street repairs. An agenda was not posted online as of press.
Tuesday, Dec. 20
Carolina Beach Town Council will hold a special meeting at 8:30 a.m. in council chambers at 1121 North Lake Park Blvd. Council will go into closed session to discuss attorney/client matters regarding 19 CVS 4634 James T. Miller, et al. v. Town of Carolina Beach, and 20 CVS 2238 Greg Guman v. Town of Carolina Beach.
The Surf City Tourism, Promotion and Special Events subcommittee will meet at 1:30 p.m. at the municipal complex, 214 W. Florence Way.
The Surf City Parks and rec Advisory Committee will meet at 3 p.m. at the Surf City Welcome Center, 102 N. Shore Drive.
