The Town of Carolina Beach shared the news on socials, noting the burn will take place March 25; residents, passersby and motorists may see smoke coming from Dow Road near Carolina and Kure beaches.

MOTSU owns land off the roadway between Snow’s Cut Bridge and Kure Beach. No road closures are planned due to the burn.
