WILMINGTON — Cape Fear Community College is ranked first place in full-time enrollment growth from the 2025-2026 academic year, according to data released from the N.C. Community College System dashboard.
CFCC tripled the average 6% full-time enrollment growth done by North Carolina community colleges, coming in at 18%.
There are a total of 27,000 students currently attending CFCC. The one-year growth reaches nearly five times the national community college average of roughly 3%, according to the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center.
CFCC President Jim Morton stated that CFCC is delivering “affordable, high-quality training that equips people with the skills employers need today,” emphasizing the appeal of success through CFCC.
