WILMINGTON — Cape Fear Community College will host a part-time career fair Wednesday, Aug. 26, offering job seekers an opportunity to meet with 30 local employers.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the L Building lobby on CFCC’s downtown campus, located at the corner of Second and Red Cross streets.
Employers will be recruiting for part-time positions in hospitality, food service, retail, healthcare support and nonprofit organizations. The positions are intended for people seeking work that can accommodate school, family obligations or other scheduling needs.
Participating employers include the CFCC Wilson Center, Wilmington Beaches, Avid Health at Home, Boys & Girls Club of Southeastern North Carolina, Chick-fil-A on Market Street, Drift Coffee, Easterseals, Forward March Management, The Shoals Club on Bald Head Island, Parking Management Company, the N.C. Department of Corrections, Onslow Memorial Hospital, Sabre Healthcare, The Charles Lea Center, the U.S. Marine Corps, White Birch Rental, YMCA of Southeastern North Carolina and Vida-Flo.
The career fair is open to CFCC students and alumni as well as the general public.
