WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH — Candidates running for a seat on the Wrightsville Beach Board of Aldermen will have an opportunity to share their platforms with constituents at a forum to take place at the end of the month.

The Wrightsville Beach Chamber of Commerce and League of Women Voters of the Lower Cape Fear are partnering on the event, taking place Tuesday, Oct. 28, 5:30 p.m., at Trailborn Surf & Sound, 275 Waynick Blvd.

Each candidate will have up to 5 minutes to share more about their background, priorities and goals if elected. They also will respond to questions submitted by the Wrightsville Beach community, accepted here to go to Chamber President Susan Bulluck. Bulluck will review and select questions, which will not be shared with the candidates or their campaigns ahead of the forum.

Attendance is free for chamber members, though non-members can attend for a $10 fee. Registration is encouraged here but not required.
