Wednesday, Aug. 27
The Wilmington Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization Board will meet at 3 p.m. in the WMPO board room at 525 N. Fourth St. The meeting will be livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- WMPO Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Comprehensive Safety Action Plan Development Update

Cape Fear Public Utility Authority Long Range Planning Committee will meet at 235 Government Center Dr. at 3 p.m. The agenda includes:

The New Hanover County Commissioners will hold an agenda review at 4 p.m. in the NHC Government Center, 230 Government Center Drive. An agenda was not posted by press.
The Oak Island Planning Board will hold a special meeting on Aug. 28, 5 p.m., in council chambers, second floor of Town Hall, 4601 E. Oak Island Dr. The purpose of the meeting is to consider making a recommendation on the proposed update of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan.
