“We are proud to support Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard as they work tirelessly to ensure no one in our community goes hungry,” said Jody Wainio, board president of the Housing Foundation of Southeastern North Carolina.

Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard serves thousands of people each year by providing emergency food to those in need.

“More and more families are coming to us for assistance,” said Roxann Lansdowne, executive director and chair of the board of Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard. “This donation will help us to relieve hunger for the many families experiencing food insecurity.”

The Housing Foundation of Southeastern North Carolina works to provide resources to create housing opportunities for a better quality of life. A key part of their mission is the continued progress on the Pierson Pointe Townhome Project. This development will provide homeownership opportunities for workforce employees earning between 80% and 120% of the area median income.
