
RALEIGH — The governor’s office announced a reward for information that leads law enforcement to a suspect expected in the murder of a Brunswick County man last August.
Gov. Josh Stein announced Tuesday up to $25,000 is offered for information leading to 31-year-old Bryan Tyronne Montreal Goodwin’s arrest. Goodwin is wanted for allegedly killing Jaquin Kymane Bethea Jr., age 33.
Twice shot, Bethea’s body was located in a Supply residence on Ridge Road on Aug. 6, 2024. Multiple shell casings were located at the the scene and investigators identified Goodwin as a suspect.
The investigation is ongoing from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Service. ATF offered a $5,000 reward in February of this year as well.
