Tuesday, Feb. 11
The Oak Island Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. in town hall, 4601 E. Oak Island Drive. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- Public hearing on a Proposed Zoning Map Amendment for a portion of Tax ID Parcel Number 20300013 and 2030001303 from Commercial-Low Density District (CLD) to Higher Density Residential District (R6MF)

Burgaw Board of Commissioners will meet at Burgaw Town Center, 108 E. Wilmington St., at 4:30 p.m. The agenda includes departmental updates, including the planning department putting forth a resolution in opposition to a provision in Senate Bill 382, per zoning authority of local governments.
New Hanover County Board of Elections will meet at 5:30 p.m. at the new Board of Elections office, 226 Government Center Dr to conduct regular business and election-related matters.
Wednesday, Feb. 12
Topsail Beach Board of Commissioners will meet at 6 p.m. and the meeting can be watched here. The agenda includes:
- Public hearing on construction of a Public Safety building, followed by discussion by council and consideration of next steps
- Public hearing for the beach management plan
- Discussion and consideration of period parking at oceanfront beach accesses
Cape Fear Public Utility Authority Board will meet at 9 a.m. at 230 Government Center Dr. The agenda includes an ordinance to use grant funds for water main extensions in the areas of Rockhill Rd. and Alandale Dr.
The North Carolina Alcohol and Beverage Commission will meet at 10 a.m. at 400 East Tyron Rd. in Raleigh. The agenda includes a suspension hearing for Wrightsville Beach-based Commodore Club.
