WILMINGTON — Two blocks of Princess Place Drive have closed on Monday as crews work to repair a water main break.
The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority shuttered the 2700 and 2800 blocks of Princess Place Drive, affecting both directions of traffic. Delays can be expected between North 27th and 29th streets. A detour will take motorists to nearby Chestnut Street to get around the construction site.
Local traffic in these two blocks are still allowed to pass through to reach their homes and/or businesses.
The closure is expected to remain in place for approximately four hours.
