WILMINGTON — CSX is closing seven railroad crossings citywide this week, due to maintenance needs.

Originally scheduled to be updated in August, the repairs were delayed due to Tropical Storm Debby. All crossings will include total road closure and can last up to five days; however, CSX will attempt to correct one-way-in/out with businesses behind within 12 hours.

Here is the schedule through Thursday, Nov. 7:

  • Nov. 4 – N. 6th St. (near N. 7th St.)
  • Nov. 4 – Hilton St. (near N. 7th St.)
  • Nov. 6 – Henry St. (near Princess Place Dr.)
  • Nov. 6 – Colonial Dr. (near Columbia Ave.)
  • Nov. 6 – River to Sea Bikeway (near Dawson St.)
  • Nov. 7 – Marstellar St. (near S. 13th St.)
  • Nov. 7 – S. 13th St. (near Marstellar St.)

Detours will be in place ahead of the closings.
