WILMINGTON — A turn lane along a busy corridor in Wilmington will permanently close early next week, according to the N.C. Department of Transportation.
Starting Monday, crews will shutter the left lane turning onto Spring View Drive from North College Road. Motorists are urged to use caution through the work zone.
The closure is being executed to improve safety.
Once closed, drivers attempting a left turn will use the Kings Drive and North College Road intersection, a half-mile away.
