Monday, March 11
The Brunswick County Planning Board will meet at 4 p.m. in commissioners’ chambers at the David Sandifer Administration Building, 30 Government Center Drive NE. The agenda lists four public hearings, including one from Bill Clark Homes, to bring 457 single-family lots and 168 townhomes on 212 acres near Calabash. Two text amendments also will be heard including one designating a voluntary agricultural district.
Pender County Board of Commissioners will hold a special closed meeting at 1:00 p.m. at Pender County Public Assembly Room, 805 S. Walker Street, Burgaw, NC. The meeting is discuss personnel and pursuant to NCGS § 143 318.11(A)(6).

Tuesday, March 12
The New Hanover County Board of Elections is holding three meetings this week, the first on Tuesday in the Longleaf Room at the Board of Elections Office,1241 A Military Cutoff Road, at 5:30 p.m. This meeting will cover the early voting plan for a possible second 2024 Primary Election as well as other election business as needed. The Pender County Board of Elections will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, March 12, 6 p.m., at the Pender County Board of Elections office, 807 S. Walker St. An agenda was not posted by press.
The Wilmington Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization’s Bike/Ped Committee will meet at 2 p.m. at 305 N. Chestnut St. The meeting will be livestreamed here. The agenda includes:

Carolina Beach Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. at 1121 N. Lake Boulevard. The agenda includes consideration of an amendment to encroachments for sidewalk cafes and a public hearing regarding nonprofit general fund contributions.

Cape Fear Public Utility Authority Board will meet at 9 a.m. at 230 Government Center Drive.
