NHC sheriff’s office investigating homicide in Murrayville area, man wanted in connection

WILMINGTON — A man is wanted in connection to the death of a woman who was discovered deceased inside a home on Bavarian Lane Monday morning.

Just after 5 a.m., New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the Murrayville area, 5536 Bavarian Lane. The body of a Black female, identified as as 36-year-old Cynthia Danielle Allen, was found. Deputies are looking for Darius Tyshaun Williams, a 31-year-old Black male, as a person of interest.

It’s suspected Williams is armed and dangerous; he has active warrants for:

  • Felony stalking
  • Felony breaking and entering
  • Felony larceny after breaking and entering
  • Violation of Domestic violence protective order
  • Active warrants from the Wilmington Police Department for
  • Violation of Domestic violence protective order
  • Crime of domestic violence
