WPD investigating Swann Street shooting

WILMINGTON — A shooting that took place Thursday is being investigated by the Wilmington Police Department.

It took place just before 5 p.m. and officers responded to N. Sixth and Swann streets, due to a ShotSpotter notification. One male victim was found suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and was transported by EMS to Novant NHRMC.
