Freeman Park 2024 permits on sale in December

CAROLINA BEACH — At the beginning of December, the 2024 Freeman Park permits will go on sale at a discount for one month.

It opens Dec. 1 for $110 plus applicable fees and closes Dec. 31 before increasing to $225 plus fees on Jan. 1, 2024.

Passes must be purchased in person during the month of December at the Town of Carolina Beach Parking Office (1708 Canal Dr.), Monday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. except holidays. They’re also available at Carolina Beach Town Hall (1121 N. Lake Park Blvd.), Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except holidays. Cash and debit or credit cards are accepted.

Passes purchased in December can also be used for the rest of the 2023 season.

Starting Jan. 1, the parking office hours will switch to Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m, except holidays. Passes then can be purchased online here beginning Jan. 1 but must be picked up in person at the parking office.

Permits must be affixed to the drivers’ side of a 4×4 vehicle with old passes removed.
