
SOUTHPORT — A 20-year-old was arrested in Southport for discharging a firearm into an occupied residence.
Simeon Alan Exline was charged with felony shooting into an occupied dwelling, felony breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, felony larceny of a firearm, misdemeanor damage to property and misdemeanor discharging a firearm in city limits.
Exline fired a gun Oct. 14 in the 200 block of Foxcroft Road. He’s being held in the Brunswick County Detention Center without bond.
