Man injured in Sunday shooting near Kerr Avenue

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place in midtown Wilmington over the weekend.

Officers found a 26-year-old victim suffering from gunshot woulds upon arrival Sunday, June 4, to the 500 block of Plum Nearly Lane.

Nyquay Rouse was stabilized by law enforcement as EMS arrived and transported him to the hospital. Rouse remains in stable condition.
