WILMINGTON — Law enforcement does not expect foul play involved with the death of a female found inside a local storage unit.
Thursday just before 4 p.m., Wilmington Police Department units responded to SecureCare Self Storage in the 400 block of College Road in reference to a reported death. Officers located 31-year-old Andrea Webb of Wilmington inside a unit.
WPD Lt. Greg Willett said there is not any evidence or indicators to suggest suicide, though drug paraphernalia was located in the area of the storage unit, he added. The autopsy and toxicology reports will provide a cause of death.
“We are confident that this death was not the result of violence toward the decedent,” Willett wrote to Port City Daily.
The investigation is still ongoing.
