NEW HANOVER COUNTY – A rezoning application has been proposed for seven new homes in the Kings Grant area.

Cindee Wolf, a land development consultant for Design Solutions, is seeking approval to rezone four properties on behalf of the developer. Rolina Homes wants to build seven single-family homes on Shelley Drive, which requires a conditional zoning approval from the county.

The CZD allows “particular uses to be established only in accordance with specific standards and conditions pertaining to each individual development project,” according to the documents submitted to the county.

Nearby homeowners of 4801, 4805, 4809, and 4813 Shelley Drive are welcome to attend the community meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, May 30, 6 p.m., at picnic shelter #3 at Long Leaf Park on Pine Grove Road. Wolf will address concerns about the project, benefits, and impacts.

The site plan is specific to the seven homes and the driveways and parking developments.

Property owners who cannot attend can also contact Cindee Wolf at 910-620-2374 or email cwolf@lobodemar.biz.
