Lane closure on Market Street near NH high Monday

WILMINGTON — Travelers along Market Street toward downtown will run into traffic pattern shifts Monday as Cape Fear Public Utility workers make repairs.

The outer westbound lanes of Market Street in the 1300 and 1400 blocks will be closed with traffic moving into a center lane. This will impact traffic near New Hanover High School. Turn onto N. 14th Street will continue.

Crews are making repairs to the water distribution system, which is expected to last around eight hoours. The traffic shift begins at 9 a.m., April 10.

Streetside parking in the area will also be blocked during the repair.
