
WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department have made arrests in a homicide that took place last month and left one person dead.
Tyquarious Gause succumbed to injuries from multiple gunshot wounds on Feb. 11. Around 12:10 p.m., after officers responded to a call from a citizen who reported a body on 800 block of South 14th Street.

According to a press release from WPD, 27-year-old Kevin Freeman of Castle Hayne, 28-year-old, Rashawn Hines of Wilmington, and 24-year-old Tykeke Hines of Wilmington have been charged with first degree murder.
All three were in custody at the New Hanover County Detention Center on unrelated drug charges. They are currently being held without bond.
A fourth suspect is still outstanding, according to WPD. Quentin Kennedy, 35, is charged with first degree murder.
