WILMINGTON — A roadway near the Cape Fear Memorial bridge will be temporarily closed for repair on Monday.
The exit off the bridge onto Front Street will close Feb. 27 and remain closed until the evening of March 3. The closure will allow crews to make improvements and repairs to the railroad tracks adjacent to Front Street.
Drivers will be detoured to Dawson and then South Third street. The North Carolina Department of Transportation encourages drivers to plan ahead and allow extra time for commuting due to the temporary traffic pattern change.
