SOUTHEASTERN N.C. — Saturday evening, two multi-jurisdiction checkpoints in Brunswick County resulted in numerous citations. The operation, Click It or Ticket campaign, was conducted in collaboration with North Carolina Governors Highway Safety Program.

Underway through June 5, extra patrol is set up across North Carolina’s 100 counties to ensure drivers and passengers — front and back seats — are safely buckled inside.

Local agencies in Brunswick County were set up on NC 906 (EF Middleton Boulevard) and NC 133 (Long Beach Road) during the evening of May 28.
