WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department is investigating a Saturday-night shooting that sent a teenage girl to the hospital.
According to WPD, “just before 11 p.m. Saturday, August 1, Wilmington police responded to the area of S. 10th St. and Queen St. in reference to shots fired.”
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 14-year-old female victim lying on the ground. She was transported to NHRMC with “non-life threatening injuries.”
