Man held on $1 million bond after Porters Neck heroin bust

NEW HANOVER COUNTY — New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office deputies seized 80 grams of heroin following a month-long investigation Friday, June 26.

The sheriff’s office announced Monday the investigation culminated in the execution of a search warrant of a Porters Neck home. Deputies found Jeremy Russell Greene, 33, sitting on the couch in possession of a .38 revolver handgun, according to NHCSO.

Megan Emily Graham, 29, was also in the home at the time. Deputies uncovered 80 grams of raw heroin, three guns, and some amount of methamphetamine and marijuana.

Both were arrested and charged with multiple narcotics charges. Held on a $1 million bond, Greene was charged with two counts of trafficking heroin, possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, heroin possession, marijuana possession, methamphetamine possession, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, two counts of maintaining a vehicle or dwelling, and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Graham is being held under a $502,500 bond. She was charged with two counts of trafficking heroin, possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, heroin possession, marijuana possession, methamphetamine possession, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance in a prison or jail.
