WILMINGTON — Last Friday New Hanover County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two validated gang members following a two-month-long investigation and seized more than 600 bags of heroin.
“Detectives with the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Division arrested validated gang members Jacque Maurice Robinson and Jamal Dy’Ron Price. Following their arrest Detectives served a search warrant at Robinson’s residence located at 913 N. 6th St. resulting in over 600 bags of heroin and a Ruger P89 9mm handgun with an altered serial number. Jacque Robinson was given a $700,000 secured bond and Jamal Price was given a $2,525,000 [bond], both are in the New Hanover County Detention Facility,” according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.
Robinson was charged with:
- Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Heroin (5 counts)
- Sell and Deliver Heroin (4 counts)
- Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine
- Maintaining a Vehicle or Dwelling for Controlled Substance (3 counts)
- Possession of a Controlled Substance within 1000ft of a School (4 counts)
- Manufacture/Sell/Deliver/ Controlled Substance within 1000ft of a Park (2 counts)
- Alter/Remove Serial Number
- Carry a Concealed Weapon
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Price was charged with:
- Trafficking Heroin
- Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Heroin
- Possession of Heroin
- Possession of MDMA
- Breaking and Entering
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
