Update Monday, June 22 — Andre Hines has returned safely, according to authorities.
NEW HANOVER COUNTY — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a missing teenage boy.
According to NHCSO, 17-year-old Andrew Ray Hines was last seen on Wednesday, June 17, at a residence located at 2920 Thatch Court, in the northwest part of the county.
Andrew is described as a black male, being 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds, with a slim build, brown hair, brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt. Andrew also has braces, according to NHCSO.
