BRUNSWICK COUNTY — With the highest number of municipalities in North Carolina, Brunswick County will see over 70 new elected officials in this municipal election.
November brings 19 municipal, two utility districts, and one hospital board elections.

Some races are more crowded than others. And with increased competition typically comes increased voter turnout.
Port City Daily sought to complete candidate profiles for the following municipal elections: Leland, Belville, Brunswick Regional Water and Sewer H2GO, Southport, Oak Island, and Boiling Spring Lakes.
