LELAND — Leland’s Parks and Recreation Department is at it again. In the spring, the team hosted an adult-only “Night Hunt” in which participants sought out Easter eggs while sipping beer.
This season, Leland is hosting its inaugural Adult Field Day, reminiscent of grade school recess games (but this one doesn’t look like it’ll include alcohol).
In all, this season’s event schedule is packed in Leland. The town is carrying on its tradition of family-friendly movies and music in the park. Several shows are slotted for the coming weeks, so there’s plenty of time to catch any one of the town’s upcoming activities.
