PENDER COUNTY — A Willard man is being held at the Pender County Jail on a $1 million secured bond after being charged with several sex crimes.
According to the Pender County Sheriff’s Office, Billy Antwan Ennis, 37, was arrested for two counts of second-degree forcible rape, two counts of second-degree forcible sex offense, two counts of sexual battery, and one count of assault on a female.
“Detectives with the sheriff’s office charged Ennis after a report was made when the 17-year-old victim reported the sexual assault on April 8,” according to Capt. James Rowell of Pender County Sheriff’s Office.
