WILMINGTON — Downtown’s growing South Front District has added another fresh face to its roster; Los Angeles-based Yoga Salt studio has opened its second studio, right here in Wilmington.
The new yoga studio is located on South 2nd Street near South Front Apartments.

Yoga Salt is the latest addition to the South Front District.
Over the last two years, the redeveloped area has welcomed several new businesses: Vivian Howard’s Benny’s Big Time Pizzeria opened last December, Love, Lydia Bakery & Café opened in July, and The Second Glass, Fortunate Glass’ second location, opened last month.
Renovations to turn the Capps Industrial Supply warehouse into New Anthem brewery’s second location, are still underway.
The 2,600 square foot yoga studio is now open, with several classes scheduled daily. Classes typically range between 60-75 minutes, with different class styles to choose from.
According to Tribute Companies’ release about the opening, the district has taken an area from “disrepair” to “edgy,” thanks to its president, Mark Maynard’s, vision.
