Earth Fare sets grand opening date for November

The healthy food store was first started in Asheville in 1975 and has since expanded across the Southeast.

WILMINGTON — Asheville based grocery store Earth Fare is nearly ready to open in Wilmington at the Renaissance North development off Military Cutoff Road.

The store will officially open on Nov. 14 with a grand opening celebration.

It’s a philosophy that makes it easy to live a healthier lifestyle, every day,” according to the press release.

According to a press release, “The grand opening celebration kicks off just before 7 a.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring a check presentation to NourishNC. The funds will be used to take a hands-on approach to improving the health of children in the community through access to healthy foods by directly supporting programs such as Little Red Wagon and Farmers MarKID.”
