WILMINGTON — The New Hanover County Sheriff Office is searching for an armed robber after the Monkey Junction Port City Vapor was robbed last night.
New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office (NHCSO) detectives are on the lookout for a black male, described as between six-foot and six-foot, two-inches tall, and between 170 and 180 pounds.
According to NHCSO, the suspect entered the store with a gun around 9 p.m. and demanded money, received a bag full of cash and merchandise from an employee, and fled the store on foot.
NHCSO K-9 units and the SABLE helicopter attempted to find the suspect but were unsuccessful. The suspect, as seen in the footage above, was seen wearing a blue ball cap, a yellow t-shirt, and dark-colored jeans.
