WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department has arrested 61-year-old David Age for a recent string of larcenies at Lou’s Flower World. He was promptly released by a magistrate, despite having several warrants out for his arrest.

Age was arrested and charged with repeatedly breaing into and stealing from Lou’s Flower World.

“He was charged with five counts of habitual larceny, two counts of breaking and entering felony, two counts of felony larceny, and conspiracy breaking and entering building felony larceny. Magistrate Barnes issued Age a $75,000 unsecured bond. Age has already been released,” according to Wilmington Police Department Spokeswoman Jennifer Dandron.

“We have several reports starting in April of larcenies at Lou’s Flower World. Lou’s had video of the suspect, so that was a great starting point, their security system caught the larcenies on camera,” Dandron said.

Age had warrants for breaking and entering at Green Tree Apartments.
