WILMINGTON—The summer concert series at Airlie Gardens has returned for the season.
Concert-goers can enjoy live music between winding live oaks and views of Bradley Creek on the historic garden’s grounds.

This year, Front Street Brewery and Noni Bacca winery will provide the food and drinks during every concert this summer. A smoothie or shaved ice vendor will join the lineup as well, according to the garden’s guest services coordinator, Flo Berry.
If you plan to attend the concert, you must purchase a ticket in advance. Parking is available offsite at 230 Government Center Drive. Throughout the evening, coach buses will travel back and forth from the gardens to the parking lot.
People are welcomed to be dropped off and picked up directly at the gardens through a ride-sharing service as well. Outside food and drinks are allowed.
The concert series is set to run every first and third Friday until Sept. 21. From 6 to 8 p.m., concerts cost $9 for adults.
Children between four and 12 years old can attend for $2 and kids under four can attend free of charge. Concerts are free for current Airlie Gardens members. Tickets can be purchased online here or at Airlie Gift Shop from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
