‘754-DRUG’: Community tips lead to drug-charge arrests for two Supply residents

SUPPLY — Two men have been arrested by Brunswick County Sheriff’s deputies on drug charges after authorities received several tips from nearby residents.

Richard Allen Warwick II, 29, and Jeremy D. Bass, 30, were arrested by the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Vice-Narcotics Unit.

Warwick is facing serious charges, including trafficking opium or heroin, possession several drugs, including opioids and marijuana, with the intention to sell. Warwick was arrested Thursday night, Feb. 8, and booked in the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $100,000 bond.

Warwick was previously arrested in 2011 for trafficking opium and held on a $400,000 bail.

Bass faces less serious charges, including possession of marijuana with intent to sell. He is also being held at the county detention facility, on a $10,000 bond.

According to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation was driven by information received from the community.
