Road closures on Forest Hills Drive due to emergency water repair, water boil advisory in effect

WILMINGTON — Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA) crews are responding to emergency water repair on Forest Hills Road and have issued travel and water boil advisories in the area.

The 600, 700 and 800 blocks of Forest Hills Drive which intersect Columbia Avenue and Wrightsville Avenue will be closed until approximately 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3.

Residents of the area are advised to boil water used for human consumption, and affected residents are being hand-delivered notice by CFPUA staff according to its news release.

CFPUA asks that drivers use caution when navigating the area.
