NEW HANOVER COUNTY — With frigid temperatures and potential ice and snow predicted, many government offices and services are shutting down, including the county’s ABC stores.
According to Marnina Queen, CEO of the New Hanover County ABC, “Out of concern for the safety of our customers and our employees, the New Hanover County ABC Stores will close at noon today (Wednesday, Jan. 3) due to inclement weather.”
Queen said no decision on whether or not to open on Thursday, Jan. 4, has been reached yet. She added the ABC will update its website when that decision is reached.
