ICYMI Dec. 17-23: From old issues at H2GO to new plans for Pender County

As the year comes to a close, H2GO and Gen X have found themselves back in the news. But much of last week’s stories were about the future. From increasing home insurance to more options at ILM, check out the stories that had people talking, in this week’s “In Case You Missed It.”

Like a lot of people in the Cape Fear area, Robert Cummins has spent the last six months trying to wrap his head around GenX. But Cummins isn’t a reporter, he’s a filmmaker.

The long-awaited, 8-mile Wilmington bypass finally opened to traffic, sending traffic around the city instead of through it.

Pender County is starting the new year by thinking about the long-term. The county is planning to hold four public meetings to garner feedback on the final draft of the Pender 2.0 County Comprehensive Land Use Plan update.
