WILMINGTON — Who makes the best margarita in the Port City? A few of our downtown bars are looking to find out, but they need your help.
To that end, Party Wilmington has organized a “Downtown Margarita Bar Crawl Competition,” that will be held downtown in honor of “Sunday funday.”
The event kicks off at 3 p.m. at Pour House, located downstairs at 103 Market Street. That’s where attendees can pick up a voting card to sample and evaluate margaritas at participating bars.
Participating bars include: Barbary Coast, Duck & Dive, The Husk, Anne Bonny’s Bar & Grill, Proof Bar & Lounge, Liquid Room, Pour House, Slainte Irish Pub, and Tavern Law 1832.
After making the rounds, bring your card back to Pour House by 8 p.m. Votes will be tallied and a winner declared.
The event is free to attend, but margaritas will cost $3. For more information, visit the event’s Facebook page.
