UPDATED: The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office has reported that Denesah McKoy has been found and is safe.
NEW HANOVER COUNTY — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing 11-year-old girl.
Denesha Elaine Mckoy was last seen on 10 Diamond Drive in Castle Hayne. She is a student at J.C. Roe/ Holly Shelter Middle School.
She is black, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs approximately 110 pounds, has brown eyes and long black hair that is braided.
She was last seen wearing a black jacket, grey sweatpants, and black and white Converse shoes.
