NEW HANOVER COUNTY — A teen has been charged with murder in the death of a 57-year-old man on Saturday.
Khai Anthony Ressler, 17, faces a charge of first-degree murder in the shooting death of Oscar Curtis Adams, according to New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Lt. Jerry Brewer.
Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of Angel Island Road, at about 6 p.m. Saturday, Brewer said. Adams was found at the home with a gunshot wound to the head.
The investigation into Adams’ death is ongoing.
