WILMINGTON — Wilmington fire crews responded to a boat fire at Bradley Creek Marina late Saturday night.
According to Wilmington Fire Department Battalion Chief Chris Walker, fire crews made a quick knock down of the blaze at the marina, located at 6338 Oleander Drive.
Crews described a “fully involved” fire to a 30-foot boat at the marina when they arrived on scene, Walker said. The fire caused minor damages to boats on either side of the blaze. No injuries to civilians or fire personnel were reported.
The Bradley Creek Marina boat fire was ruled accidental, however the cause was undetermined, Walker said. The boat was determined to be a total loss.
