LELAND — Christmas-themed floats and cars from around Northern Brunswick County paraded through downtown Leland today.
The festival, inaugurated in 1992, is sponsored by the non-profit Unity Group of North Brunswick. According to the Unity Group, their “main objective is to provide free entertainment and a parade for all the children and their families of the area.” The Town of Leland helped cover the costs of street closures and the Leland Police Department provided free security and traffic control for the event.
